Preschool Assistant Teacher Substitute

23-24 School Year Employment Initiative

To welcome you to our agency, full-time new employees hired after January 1st, 2024, will receive a $500 Retention Incentive after staying on our team until the end of the 23-24 school year.

Must remain full-time status until the conclusion of the 23-24 school year. Not applicable to substitutes. Not to be paired with our 2023 sign on initiative.

COVID Vaccination Update

As of April 7th, 2023, we are no longer requiring our employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, nor are we requiring weekly COVID-19 testing for unvaccinated employees.

Position Overview

Ensures the implementation of the Head Start program is a safe environment for children in accordance with the performance standards by meeting the physical, social, intellectual, emotional and cultural needs of each enrolled child in partnership with parents.

Base Pay
  • $14.86
  • Associate Teacher Substitutes are not eligible for benefits or incentives
