23-24 School Year Employment Initiative

To welcome you to our agency, full-time new employees hired after January 1st, 2024, will receive a $500 Retention Incentive after staying on our team until the end of the 23-24 school year.

Must remain full-time status until the conclusion of the 23-24 school year. Not applicable to substitutes. Not to be paired with our 2023 sign on initiative.

COVID Vaccination Update

As of April 7th, 2023, we are no longer requiring our employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, nor are we requiring weekly COVID-19 testing for unvaccinated employees.

Position Overview

Ensures the implementation of the Early Head Start-Home Based model in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards by meeting the physical, social, intellectual, emotional and cultural needs of each enrolled family.

Requirement

  • Associate Degree with stated major in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or a related field with a minimum of a home-based CDA credential (or willingness to obtain credential).
  • Bachelor’s Degree with stated major in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or a related field with a minimum of a home-based CDA credential (or willingness to obtain credential).
  • Previous experience with home visiting and social work field is preferred.
  • Bi-lingual is helpful but not required.
  • Must be CPR/First Aide certified or be willing to obtain with the agency at the next soonest opportunity.

Base Pay

  • $24.29 – $25.35

Hours & Location

  • Monday-Thursday [7:30am – 5:00pm] & Friday [7:30am-11:30am]
    • Homes around Kent County
