Opportunities
Head Start for Kent County has many opportunities for parents, non-parent and community members to volunteer. Areas of greatest need are:
- Family Engagement Event volunteers
- Event planning & review
- Parent Policy Council (PPC) volunteers
- Watch D.O.G.S. program volunteers
- Parent Cafe leader volunteers
- Assisting on a bus
- Helping kids stay safe
- Assisting in the classroom
- Reading to children
- Assisting teaching staff with projects

Many volunteers also have their own special skills they like to bring to our organization. We’d love to hear your suggestions!
