U.R.O.C. (Understanding Readiness Outcomes Committee)

What is UROC?

UROC is a committee made up of staff, parents, and community representatives who gather 4 times a year to review and discuss school readiness data from our agency. The committee discusses how our Head Start children are progressing towards being ready for elementary school as well as ways to improve school readiness skills and goals.

Parent Volunteer-Position Summary:

Represent your site by attending the 4 UROC meetings. No prior preparation necessary- simply show up to view any reports and be a part of the conversation as the data gets broken down and analyzed.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend parent UROC orientation and the following 4 meetings.

Listen to presentations during the meetings and participate in following conversations.
