Alger Head Start is located in the neighborhood of Alger Heights, located in central Kent County.
We are an extended year site and currently have eight classrooms that houses 3 three year old classrooms, 4 four year old classrooms and one 0-3 year old classroom.
Our outside area has swings, a play structure, slides, bikes and bike track, basketball and grassy areas for imaginative play. When the weather does not permit outside time, the children are busy utilizing the gym area or learning and exploring inside their classrooms with the many different interest areas and variety of activities, toys, games and creative supplies to develop their young minds.
